How it Works
Our compensation is derived from a reasonable, mutually agreed percentage of monthly sales generated by your Website, based on a simple
formula. Depending on vendor requirements and application features, some development fees may apply for custom integration of your e-business with existing management software applications or POS systems. Any such costs are presented for your advance approval.
You incur only two other nominal costs:
- You deposit a small, mutually agreed percentage of monthly sales generated by your Website into a
Marketing Reserve account to be used for out-of-pocket advertising expenses such as media charges, search-engine placement fees,
printing, etc. These expenses are based on budgets you approve in advance, and they are limited to the balance available in the
reserve account.
- You pay a nominal monthly fee for the hosting of your Website, database, and email accounts.
PROFESSIONAL PROCESS
Our first step is a planning session, during which we review your business goals and your operating environment. We translate our
findings into an Online Enterprise Management Agreement, and then initiate our comprehensive development and project management
process, beginning with our creation of online enterprise and marketing plans for your approval.
Your EzCOM™ Coordinator guides and supports you and your management team throughout every step of the process, providing frequent
communication, reports and presentations to keep you apprised of our progress and work.
YOU MAINTAIN CONTROL
You participate in our ongoing planning process, approve our plans and work product, and then sit back and relax while we assume
the full burden for design, development, management, marketing and maintenance of your Website.

Program Features
INTERNET ENTERPRISE PLAN
- A detailed plan, including strategies, tactics, logistics and budgets for online operations, administration and marketing,
is developed for your approval. The Plan is updated as appropriate to respond to changing business/market conditions and
emerging opportunities.
WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT
- A full-featured Website or an upgrade to your existing site, incorporating advanced technologies, interactivity, databases
and e-commerce components as appropriate, is designed, constructed and regularly updated to fulfill the Plan.
WEBSITE HOSTING AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
- EZcom™ maintains your site within one of the world’s most secure and powerful hosting facilities, based on the specifications
of an annual Website service plan you approve. Although you are responsible for monthly hosting fees (which include maintenance
and support of server-side software applications, equipment, technical components and security systems), virtually all other
technical support is covered under our service agreement.
WEBSITE MARKETING AND PROMOTION
- We work with you to determine effective sales, marketing, advertising, promotion, media and design strategies... to develop
promotional offers, incentives and creative tactics... and to coordinate integration of online marketing efforts with your
offline media and activities.
- We plan, design, produce and place online advertising, publicity and promotion, and we engage in search-engine optimization,
to accommodate the strategies and tactics of the marketing plan. From generating site traffic to driving online purchases,
promoting repeat patronage and building positive customer relationships via online communication tools, we work diligently to
increase market reach, sales volume and customer loyalty.
MANAGEMENT, REPORTING AND TRAINING
- We employ the latest technologies and software for project management, database administration, accounting, and online tracking,
monitoring and statistical analytics.
- We build an advanced administration control center for your Website, making it quick and easy for you to access and manage your
database, add and edit content, manage your email accounts and more.

HOW LONG IS THE PROCESS AND WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?
Many factors and mutual decisions drive development timelines; however, generally our process requires 90-120 days from initial planning
to market launch. Aside from a few meetings for initial strategic input and decision-making, your time commitment is limited to brief,
scheduled reviews of creative concepts, production progress and plans — typically less than a few hours per week until launch — and
assistance in determining and procuring appropriate site content.
WHAT ABOUT OUR CURRENT WEBSITE... AND TRANSITIONING TO THE NEW SITE?
Due to the many state-of-the-art technical and marketing features of EzCom™ Websites, it seldom is sensible to retrofit existing sites.
However, neither existing desirable features nor your database records are compromised – all may be integrated into your new site as
appropriate. EzCom™ carefully manages the deployment process, including extensive pre- and post-launch testing and training
to ensure a smooth and easy transition for your team and your customers.
CAN I CONTRIBUTE MY OWN CREATIVE, ARTISTIC AND MARKETING IDEAS?
We encourage and welcome all ideas; however, like the composer of a symphony, we must arrange and employ the best input, regardless of the source, at
appropriate times to achieve positive results. As your enterprise partner, we maintain a thorough, thoughtful development and management
process to ensure the creative, technical and functional integrity of your online business. We are always pleased to share our thoughts,

WHAT ABOUT CONFIDENTIALITY AND OWNERSHIP?
We sign a comprehensive Mutual Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement that protects all rights with respect to trade secrets,
confidential information, intellectual properties and all other proprietary issues. You are granted title and use rights to all of the
components and associated marketing elements we produce for your Website, subject to equitable provisions for termination of our agreement.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE TERMINATE OUR AGREEMENT?
If we terminate our agreement without cause, or if you terminate our agreement with cause (e.g., breach of contract), we license to you the
free and unconditional use of any work we produce for the site. If we terminate our agreement with cause, or if you terminate our agreement
without cause, you have the option to discontinue use of our work product, or to pay a reasonable monthly use fee which permits you to
continue using our work product for any term you desire. In the event of termination of hosting services contracted through us, we work with
you as appropriate to support your transition to a new provider.
